So recently I’ve mentioned my interest in using African fabrics, especially as we had a stash that initially the boyf was reluctant for me to use. Anyway, we’re so over that now and his mum will be stocking up for me on her next trip back here, but in the meantime, I’ve found The African Fabric Shop via this months issue of Elle Decoration. Prices start from around £2.70 per fat quarter and there’s a large selection from all over Africa, although you’ll see the prints really vary from country to country. The fabric on the left is from the Shwe Shwe collection from South Africa and the one on the right is from the Ghanian wax prints range. Definitely one to bookmark!
