I’m a huge fan of Cloud Cuckoo Designs, the work of British designer Claire Pugh who has built up quite a name with her imaginative greetings cards and stationery mixing illustrations of childhood themes with whimsy prints to great ‘collage’ effect. Her print work has been snapped up by the likes of Gap, John Lewis, and Habitat but to name a few and to add to her kudos, the woman’s so effortlessly stylish, you want to snatch her clothes off her!
I shall be catching up with her in a couple of days at Top Drawer, but ahead of that, she’s given us a sneak preview of her delectable new range of organic baby and toddler textiles – bedding, hooded towels, and bibs. The pattern repeats are fantastic and loving the robots, monsters, swirly lollipops, and cats in a delicious colour palette. I shall be updating following the launch at he show with prices and stockists. In the meantime, have a drool and a sigh….
