I do like silicone homewares – they’re modern, tactile, heat resistant, and add interest to even the most mundane of items. Thanks to Amanda at kids boutique Nubie, I now have one of these Royal VKB tea lights to add to my collection of rubber gear (sounds dodge but really it’s not) – cake tin, cupcake cases (a hot buy from Habitat), and cooking utensils.
Soft, flexible and suitable for both indoors and outdoors, it was instant mood lighting in our sitting room and creates a cool glow on our garden table.
