Sale Love: Habitat

If you’ve read this blog for a while, you’ll realise I’m a die-hard Habitat lover and they’ve made shopping all the more easier for me now that they’re online as I was able to pounce on some bargains a few days ago when they were offering an extra 20% off their sale prices – no amount of bargain hunting was gonna make me trudge out in the snow!

I snapped up their Sienna duvet cover, currently £37.50 down from £75. Taking florals and adding dotty detail, it’s stunning in its chic, airy mix of pale gold and light grey. I can’t wait to put it on our Hana bed… Sadly there were no pillowcases (other than the square options) however I shall be rustling some up on the sewing machine as I’m a mix and matcher anyway plus when I do drag myself in store, I’ll see if I can nab some there.

I also bit the bullet and snapped up a shedload of dinnerware as we’ve been talking about replacing ours for over two years but it became clear that a Missoni set I saw in Heals ages ago was very much out of the question! I obviously got them for 20% cheaper, but for example their sets of four round glazed earthenware plates are £9.60 down from £12. The photos make them look darker, but they’re actually a light and dark grey, plus there’s red and lots of other dinnerware.

Amongst the rest of my haul was some bargain tea towels (all the good ones are sold out) as for durability and absorbency, I think their tea towels are excellent when I stop moaning and actually do the drying up. Some of their tea towels I’ve had for years. I got a couple of bits from the kids section but they’ve been majorly cleaned out although you might still find stuff like their felt Citylights twinkling LED rug in stores, which is reduced from £49 to £24.50.

They had a lot more kids’ stuff left in store than online. Top buys are the fab wooden vehicles – I snapped up a London cab and a cargo ship for £8.70 each – original price £29!

Very jealous. Was tempted to stock up as they were all online when I shopped but am tryingto behave myself. Mostly…
