Exotic African prints are a hot trend in interiors. I’ve informed the boyf of this but he is refusing to let me turn some of the fabrics and traditional outfits that his mum has given us (we have loads), which he doesn’t wear by the way, into cushions, bedding, and whatever else that takes my fancy. We’ll see…mwah ha ha ha…
Anyway…I was doing my usual Thursday feature on Etsy and Folksy finds for Bambino Goodies (I must start one here soon) and stumbled across this digitally printed red feather print cushion which is also available on a lampshade. Quite an eyecatcher, I also love the optical illusion effect and how they’ve homed in on a small part of the feather and expanded it for a beautiful burst of detail. They’re £35 each at Zedhead on Folksy, one of the UK’s answers to Etsy, and a veritable home of British handmade talent.
