I was reading the forthcoming August issue of Living Etc when I saw a beautiful saddle stool that’s part of the debut collection from Brit company N16 Design, and when I hotfooted it to the site, I instantly fell in love with their coffee table which I don’t have any room for. Anyway, the designers have put some fancy science behind their plastic so the furniture is made from ABS plastic that combines vacuum-forming and cavity filling in the manufacturing process, to create rounded biomorphic forms mixed with sleek beech and cherry wood. The coffee tables are £295 and the saddle stools are £195 and both come in a selection of colours. Very cool!
