When I was pregnant last time round, I went through a phase of being obsessed with buying a modular sofa. The boyf wasn’t overly convinced because he has no concept of space and was convinced it would be too big, despite the previous owners of our house having one in the exact same space!
Anyway, whilst we were on the hunt, we were tipped off about Dwell (we go to the one in Balham but there’s one in Angel too) which has a lot of contemporary furniture and homewares at fairly affordable prices.
They have an extensive range of modular sofas in quite a few colours and fabrics. They have solid wood frames and stainless steel legs and you can get them as sofa beds too. I had my heart set on getting something with more contemporary textured fabric so these didn’t quite float with us, as the fabrics have this sort of dashed pattern.
