I am practically stalking textile designer Chloe Owens site despite the fact that I’ve signed up to be notified of when her online shop opens! London based Chloe is the hotness, with her beautifully crafted pieces inspired by 1960s fabrics. A mix of applique, stitched drawings, machine embroidery, and reclaimed fabrics, her collection of a-mazing cushions, along with her fantastic tea cosies (rock on my little bambi friend), soft toys (the owl obsession continues), canvasses, greeting cards, purses, and books are far too tempting – this woman is a veritable wondermachine of handmade cool! Every fabric piece is a bespoke original – I love them all! OK…must stop gushing!
An-y-way… Anorak Magazine’s shop has some of her owls for £20 each and purses for £10. I’m still trying to track down where her tea cosies and cushions are sold. Can’t wait for the shop to open!
