Alison from Hunkydory Home, one of my favourite pitstops for stylish retro and vintage inspired delights, has a brilliant eye for aesthetically pleasing, well designed homewares and accessories that you’ll treasure.
Owls continue to be a huge trend and between the fairtrade unbleached organic tea towels (£10 each) which I’m sure could be used as wall hangings…or for their original intended purpose of drying dishes, to the tea cosy that seems to follow you with its eyes (£20), to the handmade felt and fabric owls mounted on stretched box canvas (£22 each), these are just the tip of the iceberg of what can only be described as ‘owl central’. I’m also loving the straight out of the seventies handmade peg bags made with recycled vintage fabric on vintage wooden coat hangers (£19 each) plus I’m loving the hand drawn plates (£20 each) and yes, there is one with an owl on it!
