This one is as graceful as it is decorative – it’s a George Nelson design classic. The Home Desk started life as a ladies desk but today it has many uses as a small workstation at home. I love it. The writing surface in white laminate, wraparound wooden frame in veneered walnut. It’s going to set you back about £3315 (Innes) but for an antique of the future, you can’t complain.
