I love a well designed, funky and functional place to sit, and when I first saw Eero Aarnio Puppy I thought it was fabulous … but then it appeared in the Big Brother house and I decided it wasn’t quite as cool anymore.
However, today I have been designing and specifying a funky and fresh nursery school in London and what did I revert to installing in all the rooms? Yep the Puppy! Why? Well the kids love it! It’s a fab way to add some functional funkyness in to a space – inside or out. It’s cheap, it’s durable and comes in a range of sizes to suit everyone. Happy days.
The smallest puppy is in the region of £35 and the extra large version can be anywhere between £180 and £250. You need to shop around. There are also lots of copies out there…
And just for good measure in the aforementioned nursery, I chucked in a few Dodos too.
