Weddings (don’t be getting ideas and thinking I’m having one…yet…) are one of those things where it’s very easy to buy a boring present. We normally buy something from Habitat or vouchers from there, but I could see someone special getting on of these sets of decorative vintage, bone china love plates by Lou Rota. They’re lifted out of sweet and twee and go straight into quirky as a mistmatched set with standout letter decals. Mind you, these don’t have to be saved for a wedding gift – using bone china plates for feature walls is quite de rigeur! As they’re hand customised, if you’d prefer other colourways, they may be able to do this and they come with a set of wire plate hangers.
