I’m a huge fan of Danish company Rice and already own a few bits and pieces including one of their old style glass vases, and now I’m in lust over their ceramic tableware which includes these handmade and hand glazed jugs and hand painted lunch plates featuring botanical illustrations, made from clay. The process makes every piece unique and what’s wonderful is that they’ve taken traditional, whimsical pieces and made them contemporary.
Chest of Drawers has the entire range and I’m hankering after so many pieces, I’ve had to close my browser. They have an oven dish in the same canary yellow as the jug that is begging me to buy it! The jugs are £36-£42 and the plates are £14 each.
