I absolutely love felt but it has been a learning curve about quality of felt out there, with many sellers flogging the wool/viscose mix stuff which is alright for barebones craft stuff but not for anything of longeivity as it goes ball-y. Thankfully, I will be fretting no more as I have just opened a package full of the most scumptious felt that reminds me of the type I’m used to seeing on Scandinavian products.

Blooming Felt sell felt craft supplies (string, flowers, tags, buttons, balls, beads etc) as well as 100% wool sheets that have been handmade, hand dyed, are machine washable and colourfast. I got 1.5mm sheets (8″ X 8″) for £2 each and they really do feel like jumpers and a bag of 4mm thich squares in a brilliant selection of colours plus a couple of larger squares. Prices are really reasonable, considering the quality and postage was super duper quick – I ordered yesterday and they’re sitting in my lap now. I’ll get cracking on my projects with these and photograph them!
