Beetroot – Polish Inspired Tempting Homewares and Accessories

Pleciuga Dowry Chest Designer: Katarzyna Herman-Janiec

I get this sneaking feeling that Beetroot, a swoonful little online haven dedicated to Polish inspired homewares and accessories may be trying to kill me. Packed full of temptation, it is taking serious restraint not to break my vow not to shop for Things I Don’t Need this month. Of course next month may be a different matter altogether…. The Pleciuga Dowry Chest by Katarzyna Herman-Janiec is glorious with its handwoven chest made from colourful magazines and newspapers. Inspired by traditional dowry chests, her version is deliciously contemporary. It will set you back 395 of your finest English pounds though and there’s a 6-8 week delivery.

chestnut stool

I’m also loving the playful design of the chestnut stool which immediately evoked memories of trampling through the forest, £180.

warmer cups

These warmer cups, £18.50 each, with their felt sleeves are totally up my street although I’m not sure about the suggestion of drinking vodka tea out of them!

They have loads of delights from mugs, baby bodysuits, rugs, tableware, lighting, wall stickers. Click click!
