Aspace, the British upmarket brand for children’s bedroom furniture that’s sold at Heals, launched a range of baby furniture late last year.
They have several ranges moving from traditional through to contemporary, with my favourite being their Barcelona range (pictured). The cotbed has a solid beech frame which has been dyed in a chocolate colour and each end has white fluted panels in high gloss brilliant white. Loving the storage underneath which puts often under utilised space to great use and it’s not even hidden away so if I owned it, my daughter could keep her burgeoning shoe collection under there.

I’m also a huge fan of the co-ordinating drawers and the contrast of stark white contemporary with the hints of traditional from the chocolate beech on both pieces is just stunning. The cotbed is £450 and the drawers are £495 so think mid price range of baby furniture. This doesn’t include the mattress plus you can also buy a changer to go on top of the drawers
They’ve also got wardrobes and armoires between £450 to £895 although these aren’t their most contemporary pieces with none co-ordinating with either of my favourites.
