About

Nest Goodies (NG) is a daily blog created to help style-conscious people who are passionate about their homes, furnish a nest that they love. Founded and edited by Natalie Lue, a full time blogger and publisher of several blogs, she writes it with Claire Chaplin, founder of The Bump Wear Project and project manager for a design consultantancy by day.

After creating its sister site Bambino Goodies, the lifestyle blog focused on highlighting all that’s cool for the first five years of family life, NG was started because Natalie enjoys shopping and lusting after buys for herself and the home. She moved into her family home on the day she went into hospital to be induced for her now three year old daughter, and becoming a full time blogger and having another baby since then, has meant that it’s only now that hers and her partner’s (the boyf’s) plans for the home seem to finally be taking fruit.

Claire is mum to little Lola and after a series of false starts has finally moved into her dream home and got married. A chair obsessive that shares a penchant for mid century modern design with Natalie and a weakness for owls, together they find lovely stuff for you to surround yourself with that reflect your individuality.

Part bargain hunter, part celebration of design and style, part inspirational, part lusting just for the hell of it, NG was launched in early 2009. Your home is your retreat and particularly if you spend a lot of time in it, it reflects your needs and personality, so you’ll want it to function and also reflect your individuality. Nest Goodies is about ‘nesting’, surrounding yourself in goodies no matter what your budget and is gradually evolving to include decor inspiration, handmade, and highlights of cool independent retailers around the UK.
